In Grimaffen, players must remember the order of animal movements or sounds and imitate them in the right order to win. Choosing from thirty round tiles in five different colors, a player rolls a colored die to see which tile is added to the those already selected. The player then mimics the pictures on the tile to suggest an elephant's trunk motion or a wolf howl or a monkey's down-turned mouth, all within this zoo theme. Since the tiles use picture cues, reading is not necessary and components are not language specific.
